Get Cooking for the ANNUAL HES PTA SPRING CARNIVAL CAKE
WALK!
Put your aprons on, warm up those ovens, dig out those
recipes and get cooking for the Cake Walk at the HES PTA Spring
Carnival this Friday, June 11th. We are hoping to
have 100 desserts donated, but we need your help. So tell your
neighbors and tell yourself - Make a cake! Earn carnival
tickets by bringing in multiple cakes. The more cakes you bring,
the more tickets you can earn per cake!
2 cakes=4 tickets, 3 cakes=9 tickets, 4 cakes=16
tickets, 5 cakes=25 tickets (maximum 25 tickets). Inquire with

 Food Drive Contest
Each year, LARS
(Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services) provides cotton candy for the
HES PTA Spring Carnival. In exchange, the PTA holds a food drive
to help stock their pantry. All grades will compete to see who
can donate the most food items between Monday, 4/26 and Friday,
6/4. Collection bins will be in each pod. The grade with
the most items collected will win a Popsicle Party with Mr. Vanisko!

Poster Contest
Want FREE carnival
tickets?!! Make a carnival poster and earn 10 CARNIVAL
TICKETS! If you place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in your grade, you'll win
10 more tickets! Every grade will have 3 winners. Poster
