		Make a Difference - Become Involved - Have Fun! Join the Hammond Elementary School PTA The PTA sponsors most of the programs your child(ren) and your entire family will benefit from throughout the school year. The PTA has sponsored educational programs such as the Science Fair, Cultural Arts Programs, Summer Success Books, and other fun events such as the Talent Show, Multicultural Night and the Spring Carnival. The PTA holds monthly meetings, either on a Monday or Tuesday night. Reminders of the meeting will be published in the school newsletter and Tuffy Tribune (the PTA newsletter) as well as on www.hespta.org. You are not obligated to attend; however, the meetings are informative and a great way to meet other parents and school staff members. Any and all significant adults in the life of your child(ren) may join the PTA (parents, grandparents, guardians, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and caretakers).
