POLAR PJ FAMILY NIGHT!
Thursday, Nov. 15
5:00pm-8:00pm

In honor of our theme, "Book Fair Blizzard", we will have many fun activities planned for book fair week, including a 'transformation' of HES's media center into our very own 'Reading Winter Wonderland'!  Children have been invited to participate in helping decorate for the fair, and will again get to visit the book fair during their regularly scheduled class time.  We may even send a few books on a 'journey' around the world through a special Scholastic Book Fair program called "Book Journey".

Book Fair Highlights . . .

Classroom Wish List Program
Help your child's classroom increase its library by purchasing books pre-selected by your child's teacher.  Look for the Classroom Wish List display table at the book fair.

*Breakfast Blizzard!
Tuesday, November 13, 7:45-8:45am.
Back this year, we will host the first of our family events on Tuesday morning, for families that are unable to attend Thursday night's activity. Come visit the book fair with your family and enjoy some breakfast treats.

*Polar PJ Family Night - note new night!
Thursday, November 15, 5:00-8:00pm.  A popular school favorite and a chance for families to enjoy visiting the book fair together!  Students can come listen to HES staff read from their own favorite books with our Guest Reader activity.  Other activities and refreshments provided.

Hammond Book Fair Homepage
In its first year, this 'cool' feature allows us to display details for our book fair on our own school book fair webpage.  It even features an interactive volunteer signup link - check it out!  Visit the homepage at

See you at the Fair!
