Hammond Art Department

Upcoming student art shows scheduled for the 2007-2008 school year
are as follows:

Students and their families are notified when artwork is included in
art shows. We also post art shows and reception dates and times in the
weekly Hammond News to celebrate with the community.

"Youth Art Month" - at selected Howard County Libraries in March.
Will include several assorted 2D and 3D artworks from HES students.

"Tempest in a Teapot" - at the Dept. of Ed Gallery in Dec/Jan. Will
include 4 pieces of artwork from 5th grade HES students.

"36th Annual Spring Student Exhibition" - at the Mall in Columbia in
March and April. Will include between 40 and 50 student artworks
representing HES students in grades K - 5.

"First Grade Showcase" - at the Faulkner Ridge Gallery from Feb.--May.
Will include 4 or 5 artworks from first grade HES students.
