Safety Reminder!!
This is a reminder to everyone that the safety of our elementary and middle school students, staff, parents and others is extremely important! When arriving to school or picking students up at the end of the day, PLEASE do so with the utmost caution. If you rely on another adult to drop off or pick up your student, please take the time to share our procedures with them. We have had a couple of very close calls this year in the parking lot where drivers have not practiced caution and nearly hit students and/or staff.
When driving in the HES/HMS parking lot, please remember the following:
- We share a parking lot with the middle school. Their arrival and dismissal times are 7:45 a.m. & 2:50 p.m. Please follow their staff directions during these times.
- Our arrival and dismissal times are 8:45 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. Please follow our staff directions during these times.
- Both schools direct buses to the lower lot, and car traffic to the upper lot. Please allow 15-20 minutes for loading and unloading buses, and schedule your appointments and activities accordingly so that you can proceed with caution through the parking lot.
- Please remember that the entrance from Aladdin Drive is one-way only. Also the exit to Martown Road is one-way only.
- Please always proceed with caution and be patient!
