Back to School Open House
This year we will post class and bus lists at around 2:00 and then welcome
parents and students to visit their new classroom and meet their new
homeroom teacher during an open house from 2:30 to 3:00. At this time
students are encouraged to bring their school supplies and drop them off
in their classroom (if you ordered them though PTA they will be waiting in
the classroom). We envision this as a time for teachers to briefly meet
students and parents and as a way to make coming in on the first day of
school easier for many students. This open house is not replacing the
traditional back to school nights, which will be on September 15th (K-2)
and 16th (3-5). It is also not a time for a parent/teacher conference or
in depth conversation with your child's new teacher. If students are not
able to attend the open house, the class lists and bus lists will remain
posted for the weekend. We hope to see many of you on Friday, August 22nd.
