TESTING SCHEDULE
Parents, if you have children in grades 3, 4 or 5 please note the dates
for MSA testing in the newsletter calendar. Parents of students in the
second grade please note the dates for SAT 10 testing. Please make every
effort to have your child attend school on these dates and try not to
schedule any appointments for your child. Please also make sure that your
child gets a good night's sleep and eats a good breakfast the morning of
testing. Thank you for your support!
FROM THE ART DEPARTMENT
It's time for the 36th Annual Spring Student Art Exhibition at The Mall in
Columbia!
The exhibit opens on Tuesday, March 25th at 9am and will remain open to
the public through Sunday, April 6th at 12 noon. There is an artists'
reception to be held Wednesday, April 2nd at 6:45pm in the lower level
Lord and Taylor court. Students from HES who have artwork on display are: Sophie
Kohn, Ethan Dixon, Isabelle Choi, Katelyn Stephanos, Maria Perez, Ryder
Neal, Miyah McClease, Caroline Stetser, Garrett Jacob, Desi Hatzakos, Joey
Maruschuk, Erin Shugar, Danielle Kim, Leah Lodise, Jun Hyung Park, Karson
Kinsey, Oma Oji, Pamela Chukwujekwu, Guy Filomena, Camryn Stanley, Mariah
Lodise, Jack Lawrence, Joshua Krutz, Yousuf Shah, Madeline Winters, Brooke
Powell, Eva Sauer, Dutch Schulden, Rachel Foster, Tommy Petty, Amanda

Congratulations, students! Panels of artwork from each school will be
placed throughout the Mall in alphabetical order by school name, and
grouped by elementary, middle, and high schools. Locations for each of the
panel groupings will be announced at the reception desk and are available
at the Courtesy Desk at the Mall.
TALENT SHOW TENTATIVELY APRIL 25th!
Tentatively the Talent Show is coming Friday, April 25th! A really big
thank you to those who made it loud and clear they could help put it on.
Thank you!! Plan on Dress Rehearsal at 4:30 Wednesday, 4/23, and showtime
at 6:30 on the 25th. Look for registration forms (including info on act
reviews/auditions) in your Friday folders after spring break. (Beth will
contact volunteers immediately following spring break). Questions contact

SPRING BREAK FOR SPRING CLEANING
We have begun collecting your Gently Used Stuffed Animals and Happy Meal
Toys for the Spring Carnival. This is a great time to do some spring
cleaning and donate some “old friends. Collection boxes located at
