Letter From the Hammond Elementary School PTA Presidents

Dear Hammond Community,

We are so pleased to be the PTA Presidents at Hammond Elementary this year in order to continue the tradition of enhancing our childrens’ elementary school experience. Along with our wonderful PTA Executive Board, we hope that you can make it to a PTA meeting this year as well as participate in the many exciting activities the PTA is sponsoring. 

To ensure that we stay focused on our community’s needs, we have used the feedback from the PTA surveys that went out in May and have also set goals for the year. Our 4 main goals are as follows:

1. To achieve 85% membership enrollment of the Hammond Families. 

2. To implement a new community event

3. To introduce a new fundraiser to replace the old Market Day fundraiser.

4. To publish a PTA newsletter 3 times during the school year.

We are pleased to say that we are well on our way to meeting our goals and will report back to you on our status in future PTA newsletters (Tuffy Tribune). 

Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us to continue the fabulous programs that our teachers, parents/guardians and children have come to expect. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead and that each family will play their part and volunteer for at least one of the many PTA activities. We wish you a wonderful school year!
